How Technology Hijacks Your Consciousness
Not long ago, there was a time – when someone had to call your house, let the phone ring and hope you were home. If not they left a message on an answering machine and waited as long as it took for a return phone call. Today we carry a talisman that demands our attention hundreds of times a day.
Technology is no longer neutral, it shapes our consciousness, manipulates dopamine cycles, rewires the nervous system, skews your perception of reality & subtly alters the frequency that you live in. Our consciousness is ripped from our body into a digital black void that leaves the spirit unfed and the nervous system overstimulated.
Convenience is the spell that bound us. Like the biblical apple in Adam and Eve, they took a bite and descended from the garden into density and chaos. We too, shifted from presence into distraction. The bite of the Apple logo sits on the back of most phones as a permanent reminder : we traded awareness for accessibility.
Convenience, connection and consumption were sold to us as freedom. Instead they became our shackles. Every swipe is a vote towards embracing your weakest self. Overstimulation pushes the spirit into silence – when the mind is overloaded you cannot hear spirit calling.
Our devices have become portals – and most people have no idea who or what is walking through them. We live in a world were convenience has enslaved consciousness, constant connection has eroded focus & endless consumption leads us overwhelmed while we watch life pass us by.
I invite you on this journey into understanding how technology become spiritual warfare and it starts with your focus, in your pockets and on your screens. Learn to defend yourself with my guide on mind-control.
How Technology Affects Spirituality – The Three Digital Shackles
I spent over 10 years of my life as the happiest and hardest working person I’ve ever met. I still love to wake up in the AM and get to work 8 hours before anyone else here’s a wakeup alarm. More and more I find it harder to focus. Over time my studio has become full of books, music, devices which have consumed my attention. Our homes have literally become cinemas, we have every form of entertainment imaginable at our fingertips. All this pleasure has come bundled with pain. Distractions are great but we have to face reality at some point.
Why Constant Digital Connection Is Draining Your Energy
We live in an era where connection has become expectation. If you don’t answer instantly, someone is already worried, judging and disappointed. For a psychic like me, I don’t need to hear a phone ringing, I feel the person the moment they think of me, which creates a whole new burden in the era of connection especially as humanity’s consciousness is now starting to awaken to psychic abilities and phenomena.
When someone attempts to contact me, I don’t just pick up on their desire to reach me, I also feel their state of mind, the emotions buried in the depth of their soul. Their stresses, doubts and fears transmit to me physically regardless of where they are in the world.
We’re expected to respond quicker than ever, notified endlessly and bound by the shackles created by a new and exhausting definition of connection. The world is changing fast but the human nervous system has not been upgraded to yet to match it. This constant connection has become a burden on society, last month from the comfort of my bed I watched an innocent girl stabbed on a bus and a political figure shot with a sniper. – These are things 99% of humanity would never witness in an entire lifetime, yet today we’re exposed to trauma before getting the chance to brush our teeth.
In the attention economy, negative media sells. It’s a constant reminder of the evil that lurks in dark corners of the world. Media tricks us into thinking every world problem is our personal emergency. We become addicted to the spikes of cortisol as it fuels our spiral into anxiety, rewiring the mind and training the reticular activating system to become obsessed with the dangers thousands of miles away. Alchemy is how a mystic transmutes pain into power.
How Overconsumption Blocks Spiritual Intuition
Social media adopted the concept of the endless feed. I don’t know about you but when I want feeding endlessly I will go to an all you can eat, once a year at most. Imagine how fat I’d be if it was every day. Do you really need an endless amount of social media? Full to the brim like a pig in a barn.
When you are clear on your purpose, projects and personal power to manifest the life you desire, then evil has to attack your will directly. You may be 100% mentally locked onto your goals, the only way evil can access your reality is by breaking that pattern, what better way than training you to reach for a distraction device hundreds of times a day.
I recently read an article mentioning some people reach for their phone a mind-boggling 3000 times a day. Overconsumption has nulled our intuition. The mind can only have one thought at a time, so if your stuffing content down your neck then there’s no space left for spirit to call. If spirit can’t reach you then say goodbye to divine inspiration and creative insights. Too much input blocks divine insight – Spirit doesn’t shout it whispers..
How Convenience Became a Dopamine Trap
Endless streams of information coming in from all angles left me taking screenshots, photos, notes, and storing other unimportant information. I spent years of my life taking photos of meals, tracking calories, macros and body fat. This is classed as an eating disorder. The funny thing is, the moment I stopped tracking and obsessing about numbers I became my ideal weight naturally by eating real foods and listening to my body.
But hey, I’m not perfect – I just bought 6 minced pies because of all the bright colours, bold lettering and advertising I have to endure when I do food shopping online. If I was in the shop, I would avoid 10 isles of junk food then at the end of my shop, I’d have such low willpower from resisting tons of advertising on every isle that I would then buy some junk food as a reward for avoiding so much junk food – the irony.
Depleted willpower drives us toward instant gratification. When willpower is depleted due to things like resisting advertising or the junk food in your cupboard, we look for quick hits of dopamine for a quick reward. Psychologists have known for decades that intermittent rewards are the most addictive form of conditioning. I mention dopamine detox and low vibrational content in this article.
Every scroll is a pull of a slot machine level. Every minute spent scrolling is a vote against patience, ritual and discipline. By scrolling or jumping to our phone for dopamine we teach the nervous system to seek fast, easy and frictionless experiences. We have been imprisoned by comfort.
Is Digital Convenience Really Enslaving us Spiritually?
Yes – convenience trains the mind to avoid stillness, weakening intuition and creating dependancy on external stimulation instead of inner guidance. A lot of people now are shifting away from technology, they realised that the lie of technology connecting us left us feeling less connected than ever. I’m aware of what happened last week half the way around the world, but I haven’t seen one of my best friends in over 6 months, I know which is more important but why go out of my way when I could save time with a quick text. Can you see how convenience can leave us disconnected?
The Attention Economy & The Cost Of Dopamine Addiction
Every major tech platform you use on a regular basis has undergone billions in investment into gambling economics, specifically how to make their services as addictive as a slot machine. Every notification is designed to spike dopamine or cortisol, every scroll akin to another hit on the slots. This builds compulsive checking disorder at a civilisational scale.
Does Phone Use Actually Rewire The Brains Focus?
Yes – constant notifications and scrolling hit the dopamine system so frequently that your attention span erodes, making deep thought and spiritual awareness harder to access. This quick reward culture shifts society into abusing pleasure and avoiding long term projects that delay gratification. When I used to play game consoles late at night, I would be much less likely to slog for 8 hours in the music studio on a song that may get released in 6 months. Why wait 6 months to level up in reality when you can level up right now in a virtual world and get similar cognitive rewards.
Where Your Attention Goes, Your Energy Flows
You’re consciousness creates your psychic protection, we have to treat our minds like the sacred temple they are. Giving your attention away is giving away your power and weakening your psychic boundaries.
In the book Deep Work by Cal Newport he talks about attention residue and by giving attention away prevents us from regaining the full potential of that focus back. For example, if you start your day with social media, when you go to your big project, you’ve already fired and wired certain neurone with social media. These don’t just switch off or divert as you would expect. These are ‘on-signals’ within the mind, trying to remind you that you opened pandora’s box and returning to it is rewarding.
Multi-Tasking Splits Your Consciousness Into Fragments
The book The One Thing By Gary Keller quotes on the opening pages “Chase two rabbits, catch none” – Its reasons like this why mystics often create energy rituals along the lines of “I call back all my power and energy from all places, people and things that have taken it consciously or unconsciously” – Because energy is consciousness and consciousness is energy. What you scatter you must retrieve.
How An Overstimulated Nervous System Blocks Spiritual Connection
Stimulation is the opposite of relaxation. You cannot sleep in the same room as a device that holds the answers to everything you’d ever like to know and expect your nervous system to calm down. When I was a child if I didn’t know something I would sit and ponder on it for days, weeks or years, now I can get the answer to anything quicker than the kettle boils. My curiosity has grown stronger than my will to resist, and we’ve all heard the propaganda about curiosity and what it did to the cat.
One device suddenly became everything right before our very eyes, then it multiplied into different sizes. It fits in a pocket, can fill up a TV stand, it can even fit on your wrist. My childlike mind wouldn’t have been able to comprehend the magnificence you speak of today and now that inner child has been conditioned to sleep with it.
“Track your sleep by putting this radiation filled device full of everything you could ever want beneath your pillow sir”
The Emotional & Spiritual Fallout Of Screen Overuse
When tech dominates the soul, your CCTV notifications become anticipation of a burglary. Market watching creates financial anxiety, and notifications start to trigger fight or flight. These become constant loops of low-grade threat that erode your peace systematically. We have trained ourself to have shorter and shorter attention spans, allowed our mind to be contorted and twisted and we label the symptoms ADHD instead of pointing the finger at the portals we open every when you take your first scroll of the day.
Children today have been raised on overstimulation from birth. I read somewhere recently that kids are expected to have dementia in their 30’s now due to the amount of screen time, dopamine depletion and neurological impacts. I don’t know about you but that is a little frightening. Its time to fight back.
Can Excessive Screen Time Lower Your Vibration?
Absolutely – emotional overstimulation, anxiety and fragmented thoughts distort the energetic field, making it harder for the soul to communicate through intuition. Modern media has become propaganda with agenda’s, its sabotaging you at an energetic level, defend against it with this guide on self sabotage.
The Great Split – Tech Humans Vs Spiritually Awakened
The divergence is already underway. One path leads deeper into technology, virtual reality, neural feeds, social media implanted directly into the brain so you can scroll without your hands. The other leads inward. Technology isn’t the enemy, but unconscious use will make you pay the price and the cost could be your soul.
The tech enslaved will be so distracted, anxious and overstimulated that they would pay to remove the stimulation, advertising and to avoid the compulsion to consume endlessly the shallow media competing for their attention. Their identities become tethered to notifications, living through screens instead of the senses.
They will eventually have to pay to reduce stimulation like in the series Black Mirror where the protagonist is trapped in a small cell with 24/7 advertisement’s, they consume propaganda all day on walls with TV’s built in, they cycle stationary all day to create income to pay to turn off the advertisements while they sleep.
The rebellion will be spiritual seekers – the mystics, the psychics, the truth tellers who refuse to compromise their connection to spirit. Strong boundaries and stronger intuition. These will become the creators of our next reality, because avoiding consumption leads us to the spark of creation. This seperation will also divide authentic creation from artificial creation. We will shift from the attention economy to a resonance economy, where people seek out those who speak from spirit instead of algorithm.
As KRS-One said – “When spirit speaks, man, woman and all of nature stop to listen” because were all seeking divine guidance, we crave a connection to spirit and we have been trained to follow the priests, prophets and sages that do have access and can show the way. This is why I am so big on modern mysticism, where we learn to foster our own connections to the divine, removing the need for buildings, books and biases that have infiltrated modern religion, motivated by profits rather than the creation of prophets.
Are We Becoming Spiritually Disconnected by Relying on Technology?
Yes – The more we outsource attention, memory, and presence to devices, the further we drift from the inner self, creating an accelerated divide between tech-reliant humans and the spiritually awakened.
Practical Solutions To Reclaim Your Mind
Here are a few strategies I followed that helped forge my resistance to a world that preys on stealing attention for profit. These solutions will help you improve focus, create space for spiritual practices while digital detoxing made simple.
Get Real About Your Digital Habit
Change begins with perception. Once you are genuinely honest about what your unconscious scrolling is costing you – in time, focus, creative energy and spiritual clarity, everything shifts. Will you look back at 80 and wish you’d spent more time scrolling? Write a list and map the pros and cons like Benjamin Franklin, see if the benefits of your current usage genuinely outweigh the cost. Most people never do this exercise, most people also never change.
Separate Your Working Life & Play
Every device has its own spirit, mixing their use mixes up the energy. If you use the same device for work and relaxing your brain will automatically gravitate toward whichever function delivers the strongest dopamine hit. My phone and all my contacts are now on my iPad, which I can’t fit in a pocket, I cant take out of the house, following the laws from James Clear in Atomic habits – Create friction to stop bad habits. I’m signed out of anything that has an endless feed because I don’t have endless time for endless distractions. I have a purpose and my willpower to resist temptation is what helps that reality manifest.
Dopamine Neutralising With Black & White Mode
Removing colour reduces cravings as it removes stimulus by blocking visual reward cues. Imagine someone taking the beauty of every plants and putting that awe inspiring range of colours on one screen, cluttered with apps that want to pull you into their void. Apps should be functional, not addictive. When I did use a phone in bed I changed my black and white mode to red so that the white light wouldn’t wake me up. The red screen mimics the sunsetting and signals the body to rest.
The Dopamine Box For Working
A dopamine box is something I developed for curing addiction, but I’m going to use it differently for this topic. When I was a teenager, teachers would confiscate our phones into a box so they couldn’t disrupt the lessons. Shouldn’t we treat them the same way within our homes, relationships and work environments? Every meal, every project, every conversation should begin with your tech put away in a box, because life deserve our full attention, without full focus we can only scratch the surface of what we could become. Put your phone away in a box while you work, this should be common sense.
Batching Messages For Mental Health
I trained people around me that I am no longer available on demand. I respond at the end of my working day. I don’t initiate conversations that will run throughout it. I don’t answer unsolicited calls. My focus is my currency. To create something worthwhile it demands one hundred percent of mind, body and spirit directed to a single focus point. No exceptions, Beethoven did not multitask while creating his symphonies. I wrote two hundred songs in one year and produced well over a hundred across a few years. Not one moment of that output was benefited by social media or compulsive phone use.
Can Reducing Screen Time Restore Clarity?
Yes – Batching notifications, limiting screen exposure and separating tech from your spiritual life rebuilds your focus, intuition, and emotional grounding progressively over time.
Signing Out – The Return to Silence
The mystics who guide this world, the Oracle’s who crack the code of the Matrix. The white wizard who lead the hobbits against evil & the Jung’s, Einsteins, & Christ of tomorrow will be logged out and disconnected by default. Greatness comes when you create space, you cannot save a tiny fragment of your conscious energy for divine insight. If you truly want to do gods work & receive his full guidance and assistance then you create the space to allow him in. As Jesus teaches, we go within to find god not a church. Its time you regain control and learn how beliefs shape your reality.
Why Is Silence Essential In The Digital Age?
Because silence recalibrates the nervous system and opens subtle channels where intuition, creativity and higher guidance naturally flow.
Sit in silence with your thoughts. Let the feelings rise and fall.
Learn the lesson, and let it go. Only then will you hear the calling from your soul

PS – Maybe, Don’t Listen To Me
I’m a hermit. I have a strong 4, 8 & 12th houses with a grand water trine. Meaning I’m so psychic to the point Id rather be alone in a cave in the mountains for the entirety of my existence reading ancient lore and using my consciousness to explore reality. – “Your a wizard, Harry” kinda stuff. You’re probably not into all that so you can keep on scroll-in.
Thank you for listening – if you did make it this far please let me know in the comments it motivates me to keep on rambling. Chow for now
